The Lakers teams are PACBA's club basketball teams. We pride ourselves on providing competitive opportunities for youth basketball players throughout Saskatchewan and we are dedicated to challenging our athletes against the best players in our province, fostering growth, development, and a spirit of healthy competition. Through rigorous training and participation in tournaments across Saskatchewan, we aim to elevate the skills and abilities of our players while promoting sportsmanship and teamwork. Join us as we strive for excellence on the court and create unforgettable experiences for our athletes. They play competitively throughout Saskatchewan and beyond from April to June. Open tryouts for all spring team occur in February/March.

Lakers 15U/Highschool pre-season training - Registration Opens Dec 1, 2024
2025 Lakers pre-season training in preparation for our 2025 Spring Club Season. If you are interested in this opportunity to further develop your individual skill and team basketball IQ in preparation for our 2025 Spring Club tryouts in a higher intensity environment, this is for you.
This pre-season training is open to anyone interested whether you were involved in our 2024 winter league program or not. If you are playing high school basketball - this is not for you. Enjoy your high school season, and we will see you at tryouts once your season wraps up!
Ages: Born in 2008-2011
Timeframe: January 8 - March 5, 2025
Schedule: Practice 2x/week. (No practice Feb. 16th or 19th )
Wednesdays 6:45 - 8:00 @ St. Francis
Sundays 1:00 - 2:15 @ AJFH
Coaches: Kienan Holash & James Tan
Exhibition Games: Minimum 2 exhibition games are planned to be arranged. Not everyone may be
invited to participate in the exhibition game(s). If you are selected and participate in these game(s), an
additional $10 per game fee will be charged to cover costs of gym time and ref’s. Jersey’s for the games
will be provided.
Cost: $220.00 + additional $10 per game fee if selected to participate in exhibition game(s).
